Why am I blogging about religion? Simple...marijuana.
Weed, its a beautiful thing except when it gets you in trouble like the time momma dukkes tries to be nice by washing your clothes and finds pipe filters. Prior to this incident...I felt the after effects of the drug as I could mentally feel the physical brain cell count go down. Yes I said it, physical brain cell count..as in the number of brain cells are accountable. I felt like I couldn't lose anymore and after moms was so upset, I just have to follow through with my promise. So that's it..40 days without marijuana..don't try to tempt me because its not happenin. My question is: what are you giving up for lent and why? I learned a lot today during the religion class. What you give up for lent should be something you feel safe with as it limits you to society, experience, and achievements. I guess one of the main themes was endings and new beginnings...in other words, embrace the sacrifice and see that it could take you to new heights. Just some food for thought as you decide what you're willing to give up.
