Ahh it was a great night...I hope everyone who came out had a great time! She really appreciated all that went into this party and everyone who came but for those who didn't I'll be making some updates soon enough when I have time. This is the poem I read to her during the ceremony:
From splish splashing in the puddles with our rainboots
To trenching our way through muddy waters.
I can safely say we are sailing away to a place where we want to be.
Both trouble minded youths blinded by the rise of a beginning,
Soon learning to adapt as it lit the way onward.
It brightened our path to where we want to be.
From seeing only the black and white of right and wrong in each other's opinion
To admiring the beautiful rainbow in between it all.
It was a lovely sight on the way to where we wanted to be.
Both admiring the lovely deers and does
But never running off with them,
Allowed us to treasure them along the path to where we wanted to be.
With every brush stroke of life
We have painted a better picture of
Where we want to be.
